Airgun import!
Daer IFGians...................I have been reading all the posts relating to import of air guns to India by either personal luggage or via post. Everybody has mentioned about Rifle club membership for duty exemption and custom clearence and all. I want to know if I can import an air pistol via post by paying the import duty? If yes, please tell me the rate of duty on air pistols and the procedure for ordering the same. As I am staying in Assam, I dont think that going to Mumbai for custom clearence will cost me less than the import duty.
