NPB rifle/shotgun needs to be endorsed on license. With NPB rifle/shotgun endorsed on license you have the option of purchasing either a 1 NPB rifle or 1 NPB shotgun or 1 combination NPB rifle/shotgun.

Have a word with office of licensing authority, if they change it good, otherwise apply for endorsement of additional firearm on license as NPB Rifle/shotgun. Some licensing authorities do not endorse additional firearms on same license booklet, instead issue a separate license booklet, in that case you will have to proceed accordingly for new license for NPB Rifle/shotgun.
