Walther CP 88 Added To My Arsenal

Hi friends,
Today I have received the Walther CP 88 .177 caliber CO2 air-pistol at my doorstep which I have purchased from pyramid air and shipped by FedEx.
I was surprised to see that the process is so easy and all I did i.e., purchase, clearance and correspondence from my computer at home. The price I paid Rs. 13,260/- ($274.94) in all for the product with three spare rotary magazines.
I have booked the product through internet on 25.5.10. and paid the payment through paypal. It is as easy by paying by credit card. No extra charges I have to bear for the payment (in wire-transfer and cheque payment, you have to pay extra charges). My order was confirmed and email came to me from pyramidair with the copy of Sales Invoice and Fedex tracking number.
On 28th May, I received a call from Fedex to produce the documents to clear the consignment detained by customs department at Delhi Airport. They told me to email the scanned copies of the documents, no original copies were required. Next day I scanned the documents (Customs Notifications, my Rifle Club ID Card, Certificate issued by my club, my personal ID Card and passport). Beside the aforesaid scanned copies I sent the following documents to fedex by email: authority letter to fedex to clear my shipment from customs on behalf of me, sales invoice of pyramidair and a pdf file of the webpage which shows the CP88 specification at pyramidair.com.
Next day was Sunday and my shipment was cleared on Tuesday, i.e. on 1st June. I made no further correspondence, just watching the progress through tracking report. Then the problem begin to ship the product to Kolkata as all the airlines denied to pick the product and specified it as dangerous item. Then Fedex told me to give me any address in Delhi and they assured me to deliver it within 12 hours. I expressed my inability to give them any address in Delhi then they assured me to deliver it at my doorstep but requested to wait for seven days as they were trying to send it by surface (rail). At last today I received the product in the morning at my doorstep without any hassle or trouble.
So, I purchased it on 25.5.10, cleared by Delhi Customs on 1.6.10 and got it on 14.6.10 for delay in transportation from Delhi to Kolkata. No problem with customs clearance regarding papers & documents.
The air pistol is of very good quality. I have a 2009 model .32 IOF Revolver (MK-III). But comparing the original firearm, the air pistol seems to have much better quality.
So, who are interested to purchase airgun and member of any NRAI affiliated rifle club, go for it. You’ll save at least Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- for a CO2 pistol like Walter CP88 priced $ 175 in international market.
Thanks to Tirths and Striker to arrange me the CO2 powerlets for the air pistol.
