Qualifica for participating in state level shooting comps

1-i want to participate in state level shooting competition in 10M event (air rifle) (.177 caliber)

2-what is the qualification (requirement) to participate in state level.

3- i am in private job so i have got only my leaves to participate in the events.
but at home i can practice.
finally i would be thank full if any one can tel me step by step events and requiments of the events.

1. Become a member of a shooting club.
2.Get yourself a decent coach. Recommendation : Shagun Bhugra
3. Practice on the club range with their rifle on holidays.
4. Participate in local matches.
5. See how you feel after a few months after having follwed steps 1-3.
6. If you are up to it, then buy yourself a decent air rifle, by then you will know what to buy.
7.If you have min. 12 m (L) x 2 m (W) x 2.5 m (H) then you can consider installing lights, target system. Provided nobody comes between the target and yourself when you are shooting.

Each state association has its own norms, usually a minimum score. Follow steps 1-3 you will get your answers.
