Indians For Guns

Dear All,

I am facing a problem with my national 35 0.177 mm air-rifle. The problem is:

I load the pellet, cock it, take aim. When I pull the trigger, there's no tension to it. I hope I am putting the problem forth, in a right way. Simply speaking, I do not feel the difference when pulling the trigger when the rifle is loaded and un-loaded.

I guess I need to get it treated by a gunsmith. Can someone please point me to a good gunsmith in Hyderabad?

P.S: I ordered the rifle from Aimco!!

you load...then you cock...then you take aim...you then ''pull'' the trigger....and then what?....does it fire or does it not?......if it fires, then going by the feeling you described, that could be the greatest trigger that IHP has ever produced ....
okay, now on a serious note....the pseudo first stage in the IHP trigger is nothing but a free travel /slack built by the multiple sear assy of the IHP, the second stage pull weight is dictated by the spring directly behind the trigger blade....it is possible that you have a very light spring...probably of the right length but with fewer coils...the IHP trigger springs are available with most arms dealers in Hyderabad, get one from them try it out....good luck and shoot safely...

as jeetesh described, if it fires, you are lucky to get a nice gun. shooters often go to smith to make the trigger pulling smooth, but you got a good gun. if it doesnt work, still it is a minor problem which can be corrected by a half an hour work.
