You dont 'have to' purchase anything.
Should you want to purchase it, I guess someone who actually understands air guns will chime in.

I ordered an eagle side lever last month, seems to be more powerfull but still not able to measure it. Only able to fire around 30 shots and the rifle has gone off the next day itself (not able to cock it). Sent it back to arshad, he got it repaired and that too free of cost. Received it back today itself.
And to my luck when i unwraped the gun, found the trigger missing, at first thought it might be some kind of new trigger arshad had repaired, but found the remaining part of it in the newspaper in which it was wrapped. Tried to find some aluminium welder to get it welded but in vain.
It might be my luck you can try yours also. but IHP seems to be more accurate, well build, powerfull also and better value for money also.
Off course Arshad is a great guy to deal with, never denies to help but seems to be a bit busy guy.

is the only airgun you are going to have or there is an IHP springer with you already? If not then go for IHP first and then try this ..

Provided what ever you stated is accurate it doesnt sound great and the seller of the gun should have fixed the trigger and other issues prior to shipping it and I would expect the dealer to also pay the shipping charges. . Prior to you performing any welding etc have the dealer look at it in case any warranty on it gets nullified. keep us informed how your gun repair progresses.
