I have indian hume pipe\'s model 35 calibre .177/4.5mm wich is good . and i m planing to buy new M300 under lever so please suggest me shoud i go for it or not .

"Dear sir,
Thank you for your interest in our products. The m300 is in 5.5mm or .22 calibre. It has a range of 35mts. The total cost including packing is 3600, freight is extra for Bangalore it should amount to 700-950. We despatch the airrifle within one working day of receipt of payment and you will receive the same within 8 days of despatch at your doorstep.

Since i am based in Bangalore he gave specification as per my place but you can call or PM him to find out how much is it in raipur..
The price is ok for me and let's see if the product has lived upto the expectations or not..

I also ask Mr. J biswas from Aimco for M300 details

1) Like range of gun (power in FPS)
2) Dose it have scope mount facility
3) Which seal is used for piston?
4) Some close-up photo
5) Approximately delivery time
6) Warranty terms (any support in Mumbai)
7) Any comparison chart of M300 & IHP N35

The answer to your queries are as follows:
1) 35mts is the range there is no provision to measure fps
2) No none of the airrifle sold by has has provision for scope facility.
3) Rubber washer are used for the piston
4) The pictures given by us on our website is of the actual product, there are no other pictures available.
5) We delivery within one working day of receipt of payment and you will receive the same within 7-9days of despatch.
6) We donot have any support in Mumbai,if the goods are defective or damaged in transit we replace the damage/defective product.
7) It is difficult to compare the two,m300 is more heavier than ihp m35.

Hey I own a Aimco mod 75 for past 8 years and its great and hasstle free. Just that its heavily built so a bit heavy to carry, but good for rough use. I recently saw M300 on aimco site and i just went ahead and ordered one. I will receive it by 25 feb 2010. I am sure it must be a good product. IHP has no choice, and just one model with diff callibre. Aimco has come up with good product range. The only drawback is that it has no facility for mounting of scopes. Anyways scopes are more troublesome for air guns.
I am very excited to see my M300 and use it.

This looks straight from tommy factory! And you got to give 1KG of pull force to fire the gun. Otherwise, the gun is very well made as per indian standard .

Hello Tirths,
Ya if what you say is true... its time for finger push ups. I think thats the safety feature these indian guns have incorporated to avoid accidental fireing of guns as they have no other safety lock in these guns ha ha ha .
I just dont understand why they dont go for two stage trigger, the technology is so simple and cheap also? But still i love these indian guns as the are good for rough use and so more practical, and also affordable though at the cost of little loss in accuracy.
Mr Baba I will sure load some snaps of M300 as soon as i get it in my hand.

The important thing is at last we have found a under lever airgun and the manufacturer is ready to despatch it to your address.Earlier i saw many posts on Jimmy and i even called them up in their factory but they were not ready to despatch them to bangalore and the available guns are expensive to buy and not in a very good condition available in Bangalore.I am ready to get one and already spoke to J Biswas.
I saw J biswas & co shop from my very young age and i got many good feedback about the service.

Amol please post few photos and the performance as well...

I am yet to receive my gun. It had got stuck up in kolkatta to mumbai ( Panvel) transit for reason unknown. Today it has reached Pune mahrashtra and tomorow morning it will reach Kolhapur, thats my home town. So may be tomorow 28th Feb will be the day when i will be able to have a glance of my Brand new Aimco M300 air gun. Guys even I am very ancious to see it. And if its good, I tell you, I will have to order 5 more for my friends as they have shown interest. Even they are just waiting to have a glimps of my gun.
So hope that I may be able to upload few snaps for you too 2moro. Till then see ya

Hope once you receive your new Aimco M300, you would test it and posts its results. Do post how the Aimco M300 would fare against IHP 35 .22

Hi there,
Essentially the M 300 is a fixed barrel under-lever single shot air rifle, when it comes to comparing the break barrel with the under lever it boils down to usage

Namely, what do you want to use that gun for-

The worst problem I have faced with break barrels is that the zero(the point of impact) wavers constantly. Since you have to fiddle with barrel while loading and unloading the rifle , the wheel of the top of the barrel that decides the elevation and trajectory, more often than not is jarred.

m300 on the other hand is a more practical rifle which you can use to shoot on the move. I agree with the others that .22 has got a more pronounced arc but i don't shoot on the range so that is really not a problem.


Secondly if you are going to crawl through undergrowth lugging a gun there is a chance of the break barrel firing mechanism and the barrel getting fouled by grit and dust

Thirdly, the underlever is easier and faster to load as compared to the break barrel and you need a ground clearance of only 3 quarters of a foot , furthermore you can also cock it lying sideways on the ground though it takes a little practice.I can fire about 4 shots in just under a minute. The grouping is yet to be tested . Am going on a shoot on the 15th of March and will let you know the results

Finally, in terms of power the m 300 has got a pretty solid thwack and consequently a better stopping power if required

But the gun is never really as important as the person using it,I know a guy who can shoot 6 times with a break barrel in a minute with a target grouping of 3inches(diameter) at a distance of 30 meters. But he is an exception I would guess. Hope this helps
