What do u want to know?
A CFX royal is a CFX with a wooden stock. ( under lever not under liver ) Try for a GRT III trigger. ( Make sure that ur GUN does not have a plastic trigger assembly) . Contact tirths for any firsthand experience. He has a CFX ,plus as far as i know he is Very good about tuning and maintaining any Air gun.

Hi SpsLfa

Its powerful, accurate and very smart looking airgun.
Airgun cocking is very smooth. Reloading is easy and a bridge is provided to slide the pallet in chamber.
And relatively low cost makes it the best choice. You can add a good branded scope to your list as well.
The only thing you need to check your comfort with its length.
Overall its one of the best airguns.

Diana 460 Magnum is also in the same category. Diana 460 Magnum is anytime best airgun but still one can differentiate in both models. You can find more details on www.pyramidair.com.

I have both (.177). And both are best in their own ways.

merry Xmas and happy new year..

cheers
rahul

the CFX with a GRT III trigger is a good gun...out of the box it is greasy and twangy...will benefit with deburring, cleaning and a good lube tune....here is a picture of mine with the GRTIII trigger...

Hi!

I have both the Gamo CFX and Gamo big cat in .177, the cfx I imported through Pyramyd air, but they do not accept international cards, thus once U have placed the order call them and give card details if it goes through they will ship through fedex, fedex is extremely efficient and my cfx was with me on the 9th day from ordering, also pls note you have to be a member of a recognised national/state rifle association else it will be confiscated by customs. While ordering you can order a combo with gamo scope and a gun case, installing the scope comes free with the gun case also pay $10 for the tests, they will fire 10 pellets and sight in the scope etc which by itself is a tedious task. Only order .177 as .22 is NOT ALLOWED.
The gun is great value for money and excellent piece of air gun to hold and fire, cocking effort is minimal and very smooth, these days cfx only comes in rotating breech not the pop up breech, gets a bit getting used to loading but overall not a problem. I went is for a synthetic stock, it looks good in all black, also I can get a small bottle cap off at a distance of 20 yards 9/10 times.......the kabari wallah goes berserk when he sees all bottles without caps... ROTFL
