Hi airgunsniper,
That was nice. I too have an UTA 27 model in a .22, and it worked very well with a TASCO spring. I used it for long range pest control. Mine didn't have a scope rail. Did you try mounting a scope on it? Try and let us know the results.
Regards,
Ebenezer

UTA 35 & AK 550 - First feel

Guys,
Recently bought a UTA 35 & AK 550, directly from United Trading Agency, Kolkata & could not resist posting my first feel.
I am an Ex-Indian Army trained Sniper. Mostly used to Czech rifles. But believe me . . .
For the price they had good fire power (Pellets bore through fibrous covering of tender coconut shell . . . my free option for a target support with pellet trap). Finish & Blueing (not sure if actual or hot oil dip) was decent. Wooden stock was nice and handy. No rattles. Had a 2 layer recoil pad on the butt (like premium brands . . . Weihrauch). Trigger breaks clean without much efforts although single stage. Dove tail foresight. Leather seals were distinctly a disadvantage. Price was unbeatable. Rs. 2500/- for UTA 35 & Rs. 5500/- for AK550 direct from UTA. That was too good to be true. Overall . . . nice powerful entry level air gun UTA 35 & decent air rifle AK 550.
AK 550 spring was more effort intensive. Multi shade stock had a rich look. Under lever was functionally good with a sturdy lock. Loading tap was quiet smooth - Pellets glide through.
Rifling quality in both were truly exceptional for the price . . . probable cause of power.
Sorry could not post pics . . . Suffered a fracture in index finer. Goli marthe marthe . . . shaayad nazar lag gayi
Cheers guys . . . The way re-sellers rip us on the price . . . feel people should directly buy from UTA. Write to them on indiamart and they respond well.

Hi Pyroman,
UTA is definitely more value for money and better fire power than IHP.
However, we cannot disagree to the fact IHP is the only organized manufacturer in this segment (offlate Precihole too).
