Indians For Guns

Hi all,
Is there any airgun available such that, on firing,
produces sound like that of a double barrel rifle ?

The need for this is ,
as all are aware of the toughness in getting (99% not possible) a new gun licence,
we can use this type of airgun to threaten house breakers .

Mainly used for familys living alone in remote areas.

I have read many posts to scare robbers using airguns , keeping moustache etc , but this takes the cake. Airgun sounding like double barrel rifle.

May be you are referring to blank firing cartridges. But as told countless time in this forum, either use a proper firearm or do not use anything at all.

Family living alone in a remote area in itself is a good reason to apply for a firearm license , keeping in mind a 12 GA Double Barrel Shotgun .

A replica of any kind is an invitation for a DISASTER .

keep a few dogs, in fact even if you feed the neighbourhood dogs outside your house, they will adopt your house. so you will easily get advance warning and maybe even protection.

a pepper spray gun i think will be effective to stop house breakers, and hope its not a restricted item

Well, if you want your airgun to sound like a double barrelled rifle, you could always tie a couple of large firecrackers to the barrel and when your intruders show up, light them off.
Of course, I wouldn't want to guarantee the effectiveness of this method of deterrence.
