Review? Me? Well lets see if I can
Lets start with eye tonic
Made order to Mike melik on 1st aug. Posted on 10th august by him. And after that it was a long wait..... There was no information available on USPS well, still status on USPS showing, "left USA on 11th August"
9th Sep, I have got notice from customs.
Provided necessary document as the customs officer is a new one and most important..the officer is a LADY
. She cleared the package within 5 mains.
Asked me to deliver the clearance paper to the clerk and he asked me Rs.200/- as a misc expenses. I denied.
11the Sep, got another notice instead of the package
I was furious!!! Called the lady officer and the clerk picked up the phone and told me that the package has to get AC's clearance
Same day again tried to call her and she told me I have to pay duty
(looks like all due to not paid Rs.200) And for sure I will never pay. I told her that I will meet the commissioner if she thinks so (no direct threat, you see
) and that worked. She asked me to check very next day.
12th Sep.
Called again the same time. 12 noon he he he. She told me it was cleared from AC and I should be getting the package any time soon.
17th Sep. called the Postal Dept (customs) they told me that the package has been delivered in our PO. I went there at 2.00 came back with package and the Duty: "0"

Next Part:
==========
Striker enjoying shooting
waiting for yours too
=========
1st apearence/experience:
======================
Trigger is super light. (If you have medical issue then this is not your gun), lots of oil here and there. Hard to cock. Sharp snap you can hear while shooting. Recoil a bit and bit smoky. Didn't like the cocking sound. Bit shaking/vibrating while shooting.
Relubed:
======
Changed the seal with JM custom seal
All set now:
========
Happy after gave a lube tune
and the trigger tune. Getting fine 1st and 2nd stage.
How it shoot: Very smooth. Though, I like the CFX a bit more I have more reason for that.
Enjoy!!

Thanks Jeetesh!
I didn't like the material they have used for Piston sheer and trigger housing and the piston dovetail on B40. I don't know how TX shoots but shooting B40 is a pleasure. For Accuracy, I am going to spend tomorrow entirely and will see how many NEEM seeds I am pluck from 30m distance
in CFX it is always 9/10 out of 10
On CFX it is GRTIII. Be sure to degrease and polish and grease the required place in GTX trigger before installing the GRT otherwise you will not get what you want to
Ciao Tirtha

What scope mount have you used for Gamo CFX. Some of them suggest high mounts as some scopes come in the way of the loading breech. But from the pics the scope is no way near it. Also read in Pramydair blog that the aluminium scope rail doesnt hold up to the recoil and its better to take it off. What have you done?
Planning to get a CFX in a couple of months, once i get my shooting club membership.

Dear Tirths,
Congratulations...would you please tell me if it is an airgun (.177 caliber). How did you manage this to import
and from where?. other technical features that you would like to share which would enhance my knowledge, although
i do not know much on Arms and it's technical issues.
Regards,
Chauhan.

The height should be such that, no way you can see the barrel through the glass.

I hv 40mm Objective and mid high mount, so I have removed the aluminum rail. For 50mm objective, I have kept the rail intact. Interesting, CFX recoil can be eliminated almost fully. Mine is almost NIL!! So no worry about aluminum rail.

It is a sure GO gun. Do not forget to buy a GTXIII if you want to get max out of it.

It is .177 IF given a chance, I will go for .177 If I need power, I would buy a firearm
