Indians For Guns

Hi Friends,

Back to the forum after a long, sad for not being able to regular and happy to get a chance to come back

Wanted a piece of information if anybody has, will be visiting Bangkok next month, does any body have any idea on Airguns there, shops, quality etc. Will it be a god idea to get one from there if I get a chance.

Any informative comment is welcome.

As far as I recall there are loads of gunshops in Thailand but it seems like they don't sell to foreigners. Please check the earlier threads on importing airguns.

Well I did google a bit but nothing usefull came up. I was to go there so though if I can get one back with me if there are good options available. I already missed couple of chances in past from US and Europe. So I was sort of looking for if any body has any exp/first hand info on Thailand. Shops etc adn specially if any body wants to warn me about So I save myself from any trap there.

I am not sure why you are looking for Thailand or Bangkok for Importing a Match Air rifle, The procedure will be same if you import it from US or Europe, If shipping cost is concerning you, you can conside our nearest neighbour Bangladesh, As far I know they dont have such stupid import policy like us and they have dealer for Feinwerkbau and Walther not sure about Steyr or Morini but you can google them. Long back I contacted one FWB dealer in 2004 or 2005 (forget his name though) and he was very much interested to make business with me. Somehow I dropped the idea of purchasing a costly rifle on that time but I am sure shipping cost will be much lesser than from Europe , US or Thailand.
