Indians For Guns

Hi guys,

I am totally new to this. I have never owned a air gun. Although i did buy one bb gun (it looked like a 9mm pistol with yellow green plastic pellets) few years back. For the last few days i am looking at amazon for those M-16 and M-4 replicas. They are quite cheap aswell. But no idea how they will perform. And shipping is also a big problem.

Can you guys suggest me a good air rifle that i can get in bangalore or get it shipped from anywhere in india. I have lots of empty space near my house and will do some target practice. I am looking for something which is easy to use, accurate atleast upto 20-30 meters and cheap. I know its a lot to ask. My budget is around 2k. can stretch it upto 2.5k. But not more than that. . Anything more my parents will think i have gone crazy to spend so much on a air gun.


And one more thing. Do i need a licence for an air gun

Do a search regarding INDIAN made airguns, there is quite a lot of info on the forum regarding that.
As far as your budget is concern, I think you have to add some more for a decent indian air gun.

Or you can post an ad in wanted section explaining your budget and requirements, who know you may get lucky

After some research i am thinking of buying IHP model 25 .177. But Kovi Shop is selling it for Rs.4200. Thats too high i guess. And can i attach scope for this rifle. I might get a scope later.

Kovi Shop has the most decent rates in Bangalore and their stuff is authentic.
I am pretty sure you will not get a better rate in bangalore for the IHP also all the IHPs in stock with them have good stock finishing which is something you will have to search for in other shops.
