Sorry for raising an old thread up but a funny thing happened today.
I was just walking by the road and you guys must have seen these security vans that park outside ATM machines which reload cash in those machines. They go in, close the shutter and start refilling. Like always, there is that one guy from the van dressed in khaki who is supposed to be the "muscle". He is seated like a guard dog on a plastic chair outside the closed shutter displaying his long rifle which looks beautiful and scary. The muzzle break was convincing. The thing that caught my eye was the logo "200" written on the stock and the folding lever sticking out from the front end of the rifle. But it doesn't register in my head until I walk another 5-10 secs and then I stop and pause - "Was he actually guarding that ATM refill van with an air rifle?", "Should I ask him?".
So I eventually went near him and whispered in his ear, "boss, yeh rifle asli hai ki airgun hai?" and he shamefully admitted that it was an air gun. Let me tell you all that this AK 200 was the most beautiful air rifle i have ever seen and I now dislike my agni 500. I told him that I had a different version of the AK air rifle. The tube was matt and spotless. As we started talking about the stock, the noticed the driver in the van looking at me suspiciously wondering what was happening so Ieft soon afterwards.

Dear Broadway,
I had witnessed the similar situation in one ATM at Lalpur,Ranchi , where the guard was holding an AR.
I was deeply attracted by the nice sling it had.
This is a futile effort to befool criminals , who know much better than ordinary citizens.

Exactly same situation seen in Chandivali Mumbai. The ICICI and Axis bank atms have the same story. I can completely make out it is a airgun of IHP origin. I asked a guard...he said chalta hai sir...aur kya kare?
