Diana 35 vs the IHP 35B, a photo comparison

The IHP is 2008 manufacture and the Diana is 1968. This version of Diana is more heftier than another slimmer model which looks a bit like the Diana 27.
It is very clear that the IHP is not a direct copy of the Diana 35. It is however heavily based on the Diana.
The person who got the IHP 35 going should be commended for a job well done. I wish they had drawn inspiration from the Diana 45 instead of the 35 which never broke the 800fps barrier, considered to be the lowest minimum fps for magnum springers in the mid and late 70s.
In my opinion no parts on both can be interchanged.
Overall length for both guns is around 45 inches

The Diana muzzle is crowned the IHP is not

The Barrel lengths are slightly different

Breech blocks, different shapes. The cocking link is removable on the Diana 35 only

Trigger guards, again different. IHP one is not even blued

Butt group. The IHP one has a raised cheek piece

Recoil pad or Butt plate. Diana is rubber, IHP is plastic

The raised cheek piece on the IHP is prominent. IHP stock design appears better

Trigger guard underside view

Underside view of cocking lever and its cavity in the stock

The rear sights I rant so much about. Diana one is 90% plastic, IHP is all metal but needed a lot of work

Breech and barrel locking detent. Diana has a Ball, IHP has a chisel

Compression tube with trigger, cocking lever and barrel

Underside view of compression tube with trigger, cocking lever and barrel

Close up view of cocking lever and front screw brackets

Close up view of trigger group and bolt which secures the stock to the metal ahead of trigger

Wood stock compared

So thats it friends.
The Diana 35 is a Diana 35 and the IHP 35 is an IHP 35
Manish.
