Re: Recharging CO2 Air Guns
Meetu,
Two standard methods to recharge your pcp cylinders. Use a bulk cylinder to fill in smaller rifle/pistol cylinder or use a pump to fill. If you meant to fill in the bulk cylinder then you need to go to the fire station who have a compressor or to any of the industrial gas supply and ask them to fill your bulk cylinder with 'zero air'.
If your air rifle/pistol is Co2 type, do not attempt to fill compressed air as it could be fatal. Fill Co2 into the cylinder using a bulk fill Co2 cylinder. Get in touch with your local shooting club to get more details on the rifle/pistol type or on the inter net.Follow the advice given on various sites on the internet on the methods to fill air cylinders to give you trouble free performance and safety.
goodluck........... Shankar

Meetu,
Please check out dealers in your city and at the moment I would suggest IHP who manufacture : National rifles.
.177 barrel would be more accurate and the pellets are easily available.
Search this forum and wait for the pundits to respond to your question. Iam sure you will get sound advice.

striker,
like I said check your fire station who fill these tanks or the guys who deal with Oxygen, actylene,Co2, nitrogen etc.
In Bangalore fill charge is Rs300/- at the fire station. Ind. supplies Rs 750/- for zero air.
regards........ Shankar.

can you explain what is "zero air "? is this the 3000 psi compressed air used to operate the Pcp rifles like Benjamin discovery ,airforce conder...etc. Pure oxygen cannot be used in the Pcp tanks airrifle?
cheers

Shankar - Thanks (promise you a helicopter ride!) - After my amateur research, I think it's best that I import a PCP .22 (for it's fpm) with an external hand pump - Cheers Meetu

Re: Recharging CO2 Air Guns
Filling a PCP cylinder with pure Oxygen gas is a tragedy waiting to happen - DO NOT DO IT! Using pure Oxygen will result in a decent sized explosion which at best will destroy the airgun completely and send you to the emergency room, at worst it can cause death (shooter/ bystanders).
As Shankar has advised - NEVER substitute the manufacturer recommended gas/ air with any other substance.
Cheers!
