FX airguns

Post by Prabhath » Sat Jan 03, 2009 6:03 pm

Members,

Lots has been discussed about PCPs. There has been lots said about the BSA pcps, Weihrauchs, Theobens and such. Any members have any experience with FX airguns? Have read good things about them. Build quality also seems to be good. Just being curious and not planning on buying anything soon.

they are much pricier compared to their rivals. yet, the fx2000 is well regarded, though i don't think fx advertises it anymore.

the biathlon cocking lever on the cyclone was giving some grief to a few. handling wise, it felt comfier than the ubiquitous s410, and lighter than the hw100.

of the other models, the storm has the fastest cocking action in pcps. was about to buy one, then gave it a miss over the price. would love to get my hands on a monsoon though, except the semi auto action means it's out of bounds in my neck of the woods.

Thanks for the reply Hamiclar. I too noticed that the prices were on the higher side. The airguns however seemed to be of a superior build quality. There are a few user reviews on the airgunsofarizona site which clearly state that they are a pleasure to shoot and own and worth the price.

I've seen and handled some. They are IMO the Ferrari in airguns (Theoben does have reliability problems according to the expert I deal with). I want one real bad!

pcp's...air to a great evolution.this is what i read in a fx catalog.
fx airguns have been very innovative, that they have come out with an semiautomatic airrifle ''fx revolution''.the way pcp's are taking over the springers,i won't be surprised if it takesover the firearms too!who knows?
