Oh.. So thats what you meant.

Well, the pistol is clearly a break barrel type.

The first step would be to clean it of any excess lube. Most, if not all local made airguns have dollops of extra lube on them.

Once thats done, make a decent backstop. AND HAVE FUN!!

Be safe.

how would i go about cleaning it ..and anything that i can do to increase the accuracy..forgive me if such things have been addressed before ..i m new to this forum

Cleaning is pretty straight forward. First, wipe off any excess oil/grease on the pistol.

Then clean the barrel thoroughly. Pull small clean bits of cloth through the barrel till they come out clean. You can use cotton swabs too.

This would get the gun shooting well. As far as accuracy goes, stick to plinking and you wont be disappointed.

Why didnt you get .177? For a pistol's powerplant, .177 would give you more velocity.

well the dealer promoted the .22 i thought it might be a good choice ..i think now i realise ..but few months down the line i will go for a multi shot like the S&M style available online

S&M?? I hope you're referring to S&W!

There's nothing wrong with .22 Actually it may be more fun since it penetrates less and can cause cans to go flying with the impact!

If you're really into pistols and want a good cheap model, get the Crosman 1377. Its pump action, powerful and lots of fun! Plus the modifications available are only limited by your imagination!

No. But you can easily bring one if you're traveling outside India. Get the .177.
