An odd rat kill

Here's a picture of what was perhaps the strangest ratkill I've ever had. This fellow rolled over as though a sudden urge to sleep had overtaken him in the middle of supper. No jump, no kick, no rolling around and calling for the medics. The pellet must have caught him in a part of his brain which just shuts down the machine immediately. A very odd sight indeed. I almost shot him again, thinking he might be feigning death to escape further shooting. They're wily buggers, rats:)

Good one, Sol!
Are your 'hunts' in some kind of a godown?
What did you use for bait this time?

Not sure I'd claim to have 'hunted' him exactly, Sniper. It was more of an ambush, or, if you like, an assasination.
Pran, I shoot from my kitchen balcony and lure the beasts with common bread, crumbled so they can't run off with a big piece.
Cheers!
