Every dealer, including distributor for Maharashtra charges whatever they feel like for IHP guns.
I recently called the distributor and he quoted me Rs 4400 for a National 25. I called IHP and they referred me to a Mr. Makhija in Ahmedabad. Took him a while but he finally came up with an MRP of Rs 3098 for the National 25. Dealers listed in this forum from Kolkata and Indore do charge this price but then you have to pay a fair shipping charge to make up for this. I asked Mr. Makhija what he could do about his distributor overcharging. His reply " What can I do?"
Now, I am going to buy from one of the out of town dealers but would like input on what we could do to get these people in Mumbai to charge MRP. Some time back I bought BB's and G_Smith pellets from a dealer and in both cases the MRP had been removed.
When MRP can be enforced on other products, why not on these?
Any and all advice is welcome.
Cheers,
Brainiac

There is this self-proclaimed dealer in IHPs for TN in Chennai, who had taken a guy for ride by selling an IHP .22 air rifle for 8000 K. The guy got the shock of his life when he had gone to the actual dealer in Coimbatore for buying a packet of pellets, where he was told that the MRP was 3700 K.
