Re: difference between rws and diana
RWS is the US importer for Diana as people pointed out. IIRC, one difference might be in the power. I believe Airguns made for the European market are all limited under 12 foot pounds. However, Airguns made for the US market are not.

RWS is the American Importer for Diana Airguns. The ones sold in america do not have a velocity limiter. You can check if yours has the limiter, below the diana logo there will be a F in a pentagon which means your gun does have it.

Also due to differing tastes, sometimes USA specific models may have a different stock design - case in point the Beeman R1 stock as compared to the one on the Weihrauch HW80.yash3_great";p="48745 wrote: RWS is the US importer for Diana as people pointed out. Yep RWS are the sole importers of Diana airguns in USA and sell them under their own badge there.
Cheers!

The 'F within a pentagon' only applies to those airguns whose muzzle velocity energy is less than 7 or 7.5 Joules.browning";p="48750 wrote:You can check if yours has the limiter, below the diana logo there will be a F in a pentagon which means your gun does have it.

Re: difference between rws and diana
Muzzle energy, Mack The Knife, not velocity. Does not apply to air rifles sold in the US, but does not require a licence in the EU.
