hi,

i recently got a diana 350 mag in 22 cal. the gun is a beast, its really powerful and while i have only shot empty beer cans at 20 yards or so withit, at that distance its doesnt just hit them it gives them one mighty wack. however the main draw back is that is take lot of effort to cock.

i am using g smith domed 22 pellets with, they seem to be doing ok.

still can anyone advise where one can get imported pellets like H&N Baracuda /Beeman Kodiak.

:)

Hey Rajat...congrats man! That's a great air rifle...& i know it coz I have one too in the same cal. It's really powerful. Once you get a hang of it (& of the pellet it prefers) it's super accurate. The weapon feels like a..well..weapon!

The cocking effort will marginally decrease with usage. I am currently using Gamo Pro Magnum Penetration pellets in mine. But once they are exhausted, I'll switch to something readily available. Surprisingly, my gun is not fussy at all about the type of pellets required. It shoots well with Gsmith as well as with the other local brands. However, I have noticed a better accuracy (over 50 yards distance) with pointed pellets, of any brand.

The gun really rocks! It's a pleasure to shoot & takes the target with a vengance...& more! The kick from the gun (& i know many would say it affects accuracy) does feel good & once u have settled down on the grasp / grip, it does not affect the accuracy..even over longer distances.

I have had mine for close to a year now & I would call it a great rifle for sure!

Cheers!

Congrats on the new toy Rajat, I am sure the cocking effort would smooth out after a little break-in period(say 500-1000 pellets). Did you buy it here in India or brought it back from abroad?

Enjoy and do post some pics!

Perhaps in Mumbai. The BMC (Brihanmumbai Muncipal Corporation) is always on the lookout for ways to deal with the rat menace- I see some consultation service possible here! :D

and assuming you got a one shot one kill, you would still need to have cocked the gun 2316 times !!!!

i think "the hulk" is gonna have serious complex
