Diana BERCUDA

When I was small, one of my father’s friend used to have a air rifle which he called DIANA BERCUDA
(I don’t know how to spell it).

It used to have an extra cylinder parallel to the main.
This cylinder was filled with some sort of flammable gas.
This flammable gas was regulated with a bolt connected to the cylinder.
What really used to happen was, this gas was mixed with the regular air which comes in main cylinder while cocking and as soon as the trigger is pressed, due to pressures the flammable gas burned and gave an extra burst of power to the air rifle.

And literally speaking that .22 Diana was better than kirko.22 rifle.

The friend of father went away…….. ……..and the air rifle remained only in my dreams. :(

I haven’t heard of it from any body.

If any body has any info on it please do share.

(End of story)

Thanks

I think you are thinking of the Weihrauch Barakuda EL54 air-rifle, which used a system of forced dieseling to boost the power level.
