Help required to choose the right air pistol...

Post by Cari » Thu Jun 12, 2008 11:27 am

Hi folks,
I'd like to pick up a good air pistol (CO2). My friend is willing to carry it with her on her way back from the US. How does the Walther CP99 fare? Is it allowed to carry the CO2 canisters in checked in baggage?
Cheers!
Anjan

Go for some good quality Springer in 0.177 Cal
You can get them for $50 ~ $300 range

Also decide what you intend to use the pistol for? For general plinking purposes you have lots of options under 150 USD. You can't shoot real 10-meter with guns like the CP99 or Beeman P17.

Hello All,
There is an Armory in Bangalore selling a Walther CP99 Co2 Pistol, he is quoting 45k but in the US the gun is priced at 170$-200$.
Please can someone help me in finalizing the best price for this gun.
Regards,
Fire.

Best Price: Actual Price on Net + Shipping charges to India. Convert the same to Rupees and you've got the best price. But I doubt anybody would sell it you on that price.

Also, please don't post the same query on multiple threads.

Jeff Cooper advocated four basic rules of gun safety:
1) All guns are always loaded. Even if they are not, treat them as if they are.
2) Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3) Keep your finger off the trigger till your sights are on the target.
4) Identify your target, and what is behind it.
