Here is another example of good customer service.
A day back i sent en email to IHP stating that my 1.77 mod 25 was missing a rear cap (which holds the triggger pin).
Today the part turned up thru a courier and they havent even charged me for it.

Here are the before and after snaps.

That's commendable by IHP. Mr. Makhija, the GM of IHP- Air Guns Div, Vatva, is a helpful sort when I visited the IHP Vatva factory.

Cheers!

My brand new National 25 popped its rear sight vertical blade after 80rounds or so. Can you please give me the address to which i should send the complaint?

Sniper that picture brings back a lot of memories. That particular model was the first from National and I remember being gifted one by my late grandmother. It was bought at an exhibition in Bangalore 18 years ago for 375 rupees :-)

I had the most amount of fun with that airgun, somehow subsequent models did not seem to be as well built as the first lot.

Hi GG,
you are right. The finish on this one is still almost as good as new. It still has the original bluing on it and the accuracy hasnt dropped at all. The only modification i did on it was to add a pice of rose wood to the butt to increase the length as it was a bit small for me.
If im not mistaken this batch had imported barrles on it.
It was gifted to my dad by a Brigadier in Hyderabad. I believe that he picked it up from the army canteen for 200 odd bucks.

Emailed IHP and asked if they could send out a few parts for my old IHP National - They called back, verified and shipped out the parts by VPP.

Glad to know that good old IHP is responding so quickly. Almost everyone has owned a IHP at one time or another. My first airguns were a tommy and IHP gifted to me by my brother.
