hello every one
does any one know about diana 460 mag?how good is it? any idea about price.Also has any one heard about SDB air guns they are made in kolkata.recently i saw one with a dealer . i mistook it for an imported one . butt finish and barrel was va.good. between Gamo and Diana which is better.

The Dianas have better build quality than compared to the Gamo line,nevertheless-gamo is fast catching up albeit with the poaching of designs and quality from BSA which they now currently own.

Yes "SDB" Air Guns are from Kolkata .. the full name of this company is "Susanta Das and Bros" the finish may be good but not the quality. I have visited their factories when I was in Kolkata they are not very far from my House. They use MS-Bright Steel for their Barrel which is not a standard grade for Barrel making. They lack in rifling process also and Cylinder tube is not seamless either. This is what my experience with their product line.

DIANA being discussed over here is the German Product.

You are refereing to some NEW DIANA make of Kolkata.
My immpression of Kolkata manufacturers is that they are either too busy or too lazy to update there products. Surprisingly Kolkata has maximum air gun manfacturers but product quality is very poor. I dont know why they can't make some quality air guns, there are people who respect good quality can pay price for it. If you have contact with any Kolkata manufacturer than try and check how much it will cost for a good quality rifle.

IHP who has a little better product is also facing crises these days its production has just started 2 - 3 months back, lets see how much they can feed hungry indian market.

He is clearly refering to SDB of Calcutta. Read properly what the man has taken the trouble to post.

please check the Diana website for info about their 460mag.!

I do have the Diana 2007 product catalouge. If 460 Mag features in it, I will post all details here later tonight.

Guys just get into www.straightshooters.com, www.piramydair.com or any of the online air gun shops and you will get most of the specs.
The muzzle velocity figures are liable to be exaggerated to push sales but otherwise you will get a fair idea.

check out the RWS website. The Diana products are being sold under their brand now. You will see the 460 mag as one of their feature products.

SDB has often been mistaken for EssBee which I was told was an english made airgun. I have seen only one of its kind and it was a real good one with a very smooth trigger.
Has anyone any info on that

g smith people have given me the price of 460 mag as 47000 is it good for the price?. the problem is to transport it to kerala.
