Indians For Guns

Hi all,

Just received my 0.22 IHP air pistol from aimco (excellent packing and oiling well done - Thx aimco).
some Qn that I have are-
1.Can I use it for killing pests (rats etc...)
2. Can it be effective for killing stray dogs as its too much of menace in my area (no clue about legal aspects)
3. Can i make any changes to my airpistol such that the fps / range increases (currently - 350fps / 10 mtrs),I recently came to know by reading other chat threads that gun shops do sell spare parts of air guns that improve their capabilities.

You cannot use your air-pistol to kill rats or dogs as your air-pistol is underpowered. Shooting at stray dogs is illegal.

Indian make 0.22 air pistol gets 350 fps ? You should ask the other guys here. Somehow I doubt it.

Being an aerospace engineer I have tried the idea just as an innovation and succeeded (approx 1000fps... not joking) but I doubt about the legal aspect.. so I cannot discuss here any further... Thanks
