Hi,
I have precihole Polaris NX100 -a nitro piston break barrel and a PCP Evanix AR6K..
I have been using multiple pellets ( all imported JSB, Gamo , H&N etc) in different weights in .177 calibre. Recently I have used 13.44 JSB exact redesigned with short skirt type pellet in my PCP and it got stuck. Now the .177 calibre JSB in 13.44 are 4.52mm and I have no problem in the usual round shaped pellets except for these redesigned JSB heavy.. anyone else faced the problem...

It's too heavy for sub 12 ftlbs air rifle. If you still want to shoot it,try deep seating those pellets.

True that, Bishop !
I experienced same thing with Rifle Thunder 14gr pellets. Deep seated, and they “Thunder” Downrange! [emoji851]

My assessment for a springer/ NP is not to use pellets (grains) more than 80% of Fpe at muzzle end.

True....avoid it....i can use it in my Daystate though...but avoid it in your precihole..in fact i had the same problem using it in my diana 52...13 plus grains requires a terrific push

Hi pm40909 !
Wanted to know how to calculate that from ME… e.g. for 12FPE, 80% of 12 gives You 9.6 (sticking to the numeric values only), so the choice should be pellets closer or equivalent to 9.6gr, right?

Absolutely right. This has been my experience with NX 100, NX 200, Xena, Diana 350 and Diana 460....all springers. Beyond that may cause spring fatigue, depending upon the excess weight of pellets used.

Yes. I too have experienced the same issue when I used it in my Diana 350 magnum. I find the normal jsb monster is better than the redesigned.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have this problem in my PCP Evanix AR6K Hunting Master. I understand that the issue is of the design rather than the weight. I have used these heavy pellets after slightly rolling on surface which makes the skirt end to decrease the size from 4.52 to 4.5 and they shoot like a charm. Thanks..
