I am trying to sevice my old Kolkata made AR ..
I had removed the barrel and cocking arm from action.

There is a end cap to the chamber which has to be removed before we take the trigger and spring PINs out basically 2 pins which hold the trigger and spring .

The end round cap is jammed and doesn't move , I have kept it oiled and will try to hammer it out slowly with screwdriver ...anybody has idea or exp how to take that cap off ?

Take a screwdriver put it on the edge on the cap , hammer softly on the screwdriver.....

or try with a slide wrench. but wrap that cap with some paper or cloth first. otherwise the wrench will leave the marks on it.
You will get that wrench at any near by Auto repair shop..

Ok now the question is does it installed like a threaded cap or just push on ?

If push on I can hammer it out if threaded i have to use wrench

it is only push on cap just use screwdriver & hammer

Yes I pushed it out , kept oiled overnight. Removed the trigger and pin .

Now have to carfully take off the last pin out which will bring the section and spring out

Bent spring , very shabby finish to the ends

Anybody can help me with the items I need ? Kovibazar has seals , springs ..

Gsmith model 35 spring n piston seal would work ?

Dear Pravin,
Use Precihole spring for smooth firing cycle and if possible upgrade the piston seal to a synthetic one.Use Moly-grease for lubricant.

Ok can we fit synthetic piston seal to the piston which is using leather seal ?

Yes, You can fit synthetic piston seal.But you'll need a adapter which makes synthetic seal compatible with the piston head.
Something like the this one.

Or something like thisone.

I think l stick to leather for now , this is old rifle and am not sure how accurate she is ordered seal ,spring , breach seal , screw set from kovi ..

Let's see when they come and will fix her
