Dear Bishal,

Most of Indian ARs have heavy preload. That means it under high pressure within the action.
Foreign ARs may have less preload....
Spring compressor is a must for Indian AR and if you are doing it first time.....please take help from any experienced person.
Carpenter vice can be used to do the job.

Basu

Note:This is not free of risk....please take adequate care

Don't risk your life, always be careful even if you use a spring compressor. Best way is to learn how to do it from an experienced person for first time. Then you can do it on your own.

Nothing wrong in trying once. But you feel difficult because of spring tension while refitting the rifle.

Dear Bishal raj,
Am agree with BASU sir and VSRaja sir, I think you may watched opening of a foreign make AR, most of Indian make air rifles main spring always under high tension , even in uncocked, for mai spring removal, after detachment of barrels, the two carter pins behind the receiver tube, that is near the end cap, almost one carter holds the trigger, other one hide in end cap, holds the piston and mainspring , but both pins to be removed carefully , you can use car jockey or c clamp vice confirm all are in proper position and firm fit, after removal of trigger pin, then apply little pressure behind the end cap area, you can feel that the pin easily removes by the finger, after release the tension in c clamp the main spring is always 3 to 4.5 inches lengthier than receiver tube, hope you under stood .take care

The only Air Rifle which can be opened SAFELY without a spring compressor is Air Arms TX-200 which has zero preload. To the best of my knowledge. But I may be wrong also. For any AR with preload on spring a spring compressor only is a safe way when reassembling the gun.

always use a spring compressor. even if there is no high spring pre tension. lots of easy diy available... or if you have a bar clamp or parallel clamp that can be used.
