Indians For Guns

AARMR recently launched two new air rifles.AARMR National 35 and AARMR National 350 Magnum.Manufacturer didn't release any specifications,but it is know that it produces 15 ftlbs of energy at the muzzle and both the air rifles are similar in appearance.

Did anyone got his hands in this gun?

I am told that these air rifles differ in their muzzle energy.
National 35 is slightly underpowered compared to National 350 Magnum

Kovibazaar and Airgunbazaar are now selling these air rifles online.

Can anyone let me know that how far these models of Armars are different from there earlier models line 15/16/18 ?

I bought this National 350 Magnum yesterday. This is really a blessing for magnum air gun lovers and very close to Diana 350 Magnum power.
As expected low expectation of aesthetical and finishing from Armour, but promising power. Stock is badly finished with kind of rubber coating, would have been made up of wood. Yet to do Chrony test and let you know.

Please share the chrony test results, whenevee convenient. My SDB Xena was giving around 18 joules at their factory in Kolkata. Planning to buy a new spring gun as I have shifted to Noida... Besides the aesthetics, and power, have you checked the accuracy?

I have tested National 350 Magnum with RWS HYPERMAX 0.177 Pointed,0.34g/5.2gr; Honestly, it gave 1120fps. With JSB 8.44gr diablo consistently all shots are fired above 950fps. Also tried with heavy pellets like JSB Beast Diablo 16.20gr I could get 620fps. Worth buying.. It will start giving speed only after 100 shots are fired. But the trigger is very hard and if you are used to two-stage versions you will feel a major difference.

I have SDB Xena as well. Compared to Xena, National 350 magnum has heavy recoil. I have been using Airguns for the past 20 years and used to fire with harder triggers. New bees who are introduced with smooth triggers need good training.

Also, I inserted a thin metal needle just to guess its swept volume, I guess somewhere close to 61cc(will tell accurate in some days when I open it), where Diana 350 magnum has 71cc. Honestly, It has good power.

Aarmr can dare to launch a product which is subjected to licensing due to crossing of maximum power limit as prescribed the existing law.

Dear Basu Sir,

Armour National 350 Magnum falls under legal limitations. No need to worry also.
● 16 grain @ 620 fps= 13.83fpe / 18.75 Joules. - ie..Heavy pellet
● 5.2 grain @ 1120fps= 14.49fpe / 19.64 Joules - lightest pellet one can use.
They fall under absolutely legal limitations.
We need to appreciate Armour for giving such a powerful airgun.

I really don't know why government is paranoid about airguns. In that case government need to force to get an arm license for kitchen knives as well.

In Indian market we need a gun with combo of decent accuracy,trigger and power. Here power comes last.If a gun with huge power with less score in trigger and accuracy is never more than a junk.Even we are comparing and criticising both SDB and precihole,even though they are good performers.

Indeed. SDB Xena is really a good compititor for all imported air guns. I have really fallen in love with Xena. Whenever I go hometown it's my all time companion.

Also Xena need to take a consideration to improve rear sight. Rear sight spring need to be very strong and should have clicks like Precihole has. With the recoil elevation gets changed. I have changed default spring of of Xena with Typhoon one which SDB sells with 8.44 JSB diablo, consistent 935 fps I got with one inch grouping on open sight @ 12 meter distance.

I could shot a Coca-Cola tin at the distance of 70 meters and the pellet passed through the tin.

A little steps ahead need for Xena to stand next to Diana.

As I accept your every statement on face value yet I have some doubt about the velocity returned by JSB Exact 8.44 gns.
As per your data Xena is returning 16.3 Ftlbs of energy.
To the best of my understanding the Xena's internals supports 14+Ftlbs max and not beyond.
Your piece is exceptional in terms of power that I must agree.

In view to feedbacks received from close users interms of performance, Xena has matched international ARs if not outclassed them.

Dear Basu Sir,

I use 2 drops of silicon oil for piston for evey 100 shots.
(Sheldon Silicone Oil Gear Lubricant (25 ml))
This increases remarkable speed for ARs.
