hello fellow shooters, I got really old top barrel ISW senior pistol,that belonged to my Grandpa. This one was locked for about 15-20 years and was never shot. when i got this AP, i didnt knew much about the gun. I did research and found out it was the Indian copy of webley scott senior air pistol. its beautiful and heavy. So i decided to give a try and restore this beauty. I got this pistol 2 years ago. After long research, search and looking for the parts, I decided to give a DIY try, as the company ISW has stopped its production line long ago, so there was no chance that i might get the spares for it.
after opening the it, the inner tube was clogged with leather debris from the old seal. the air channel to breach was also completely choked with the dirt,so i oiled the intake and the breach outlet and let it soaked overnight. On next afternoon i used medical syringe to clean the air channel. after cleaning, and proper oiling, It was time to prepare this baby to build some pressure. I wanted to restore this gun, but without proper seal, its difficult to achieve the original pressure. I tried various options but couldn't find the proper seal for this gun. after doing some utha-patak i decided to make a temporary seal out of rubber tube.I found a brass washer of the same diameter of the piston, traced it on the tube, chopped two pieces and, I got myself makeshift seal. after assembling, its able to create pressure, but I was out of pellets, so i will try tomorrow. will it be able to at least throw pellet out of the barrel, if not then will need to change the spring.

As per my idea the manufacturing of this Pistol was outsourced.
Now this Pistol is not found in market.

You should be able to find videos and other information on fabricating your own leather seal. Best of luck with the restoration, looking forward to reading about it as it progresses

Pistol is no good,
First thing, while shooting the pellet jammed in the barrel, and after three attempts was barely able to just pop out of the muzzle.
Second thing, the piston lock is worn out. I didn't notice that earlier, when i was cocking, out of 5 attempts 3 times it slipped. So i need to make a new sear.
Third, and most important, the spring has lost its power. Need to arrange new spring.
Now for the time being its just a kiddy toy, or a showpiece with no power to shoot pellets.

Sorry, I just lost interest in making the video, as i was really disappointed with the gun, so no video. I am sure will be able to arrange the required parts, then will post the video

Can anyone help me to find the spring, local dealers dont have pistol spring. I searched online, but not sure that the spring will fit on this one. Will post the length of the spring

Problem seems to be spring AND rubber seal. Try and fabricate a leather seal it will work much much better! For spring, count the number of coils, measure dia of wire and approx length. You should be able to source something locally or have it fabricated... It isn't hard to make springs.

By the tips and the guidance I was able to partially restore it. Its not building up a constant pressure, but is able to shoot pellets in one shot.
Will be greasing it constantly so the piston runs smooth, for about one week. Then see the end result. Here's the video of the shooting test. Hope you'll like. Tips and comments are welcome, ps dont be harsh on the comments
