Dear dh,
Congratulation for your new buy.....
This makes low noise but holds fierce power.
Be careful.....
Do not leave the barrel till finally cocked.
Safety first....
Post some photos.....

Re: SDB Xena accuracy, vibes & trigger pull weight test
That's true Basu da, got the glimpse of it at the shop. Still working on backstop to start indoor shooting. I had been longing for Artemis for quite a long time however but could not make up my mind while conflicting it with Percihole, also due to lack of Safety feature.
But this one is a true gun. Just holding this one will make one feel different.
Except one thing I did not like about the AR, S.No. is not embossed which should BE. The print will run off with few scratches.
Regards
dh

Re: SDB Xena accuracy, vibes & trigger pull weight test
There has been lot of comparison on SDB Xena and PH NX200 ...
I do already have Artemis and pleased with the performance except the machining & galling part of rifle..
please post detailed high quality photos and also 10 20 30 meter groups if you can ..I bet shes dam accurate and would like to see long range grouping
Cheers

This is the pic of my first 3 shots indoors off hand at a range of approx 22 ft. If a amature like me can shoot the target definitely it would be smoother in experienced hands.
The recoil does not have any after vibrations, its just a "thud'

Dear dh,
Very nice score to begin with.
This AR has tremendous potential once you pass through 500-600 shots.
What is your feel about power ?
Enjoy the gun.....

Re: SDB Xena accuracy, vibes & trigger pull weight test
To tell you the truth Shooter will not be realizing the power of the AR due the low recoil but the impact can be seen on the target.
At 20 to 22 ft when the target paper was shot which was even not clipped to the stand, it just stood there owning to the speed the pellet went through. As I use lead as backstop the pellet got entirely lodged & mangled with the lead plate.
But I realize I have made a mistake in choosing the front sight for the AR, I should not had opted for the fiber one as I am accustomed to round head in the front sight.

Posting some pics of impact of NE flat head pellet shot from a distance of approx 22ft on a half inch lead backstop.
Notice how beautifully the pellet lodges itself in the flat surface of lead.
Pic 1 - The Score Card
Pic 2 & 3 - Impact of the pellet on the backstop
Pic 4 - The fresh lead back stop for comparison
Note: It was a cold bore shot

Re: SDB Xena accuracy, vibes & trigger pull weight test
Hi All,
Today I bought my second SDB Xena, one with metal front sight (previos one was fiber sight). Since I relocated to Hyderabad my hands were itching for the touch of my favorite hobby. Finally I was able to locate and lay my hands on it.
Aside Basu da: Do you have any update that SDB has increased the no. of coils in Xena
Regards

Dear gunner,
Kudos for getting 2nd Xena.
I did not know that you relocated at Hydrabad.
Hope Xena will help you a great deal to counter the boredom of lockdown.
I do not have any clue about your question so I should not comment.
I expect some photogtsphs of your new buy.
Enjoy........

Yes....Xena generates quite a solid punch undoubtedly.
While generating solid punch such is this ,AR maintains calmness too.
Probably ,to my mind the stock helps the AR to maintain calmness.
