Newbie going for Match Air Pistol

Hi All,
I am 38 yo, and taken up precision shooting very recently.
After a week with (Precihole) NX 1000, my instructor in SATS Range (Telangana, Hyderabad) told me
that I have to make a call if I am serious about it or not.
Given my age he wants me to pursue Air Pistol.
He is recommending Steyr Evo 10 which is close to 1.6 lakh.
That is the problem. Match Air Pistols are costing a small fortune of upto 2 Lakh.
Is there any dealer in India who deal with entry level Air Pistols - like Alfa Proj or Air Venturi ( Earlier Gamo Compact) ?
I found out RelishSports has some of them - but I think the site is dead.
I am a small guy with a small grip. Not x-small, but small.
Moreover, there is a tournament coming in August, in which I intend to participate.
Time is, in all practicality, running out.
Any help will be appreciated.
