Hi all ,

Starting this new ,

Almost 500 shots through and bit of trigger tuning .
Today I scoped her with CP 4X16-40 and tested all pellets which I could push through with medium efforts

Distance 10 Yards , sitting knee resting ....

I am happy to say that if I do my part SDB Artemis can deliver similar grouping as my Diana 460 Magnum atleast at 10 Yards :)
Been long and no grouping shared so sharing the pics ,
Best pellets in terms of grouping in sequence as per my test
1) JSB exact 8.44
2) RWS SUPERDOME 8.3
3) PRECIPEL FT 8.7
4) GSmith Super Impact 8.5
5) GSmith High Impact 9.6
6) GSmith High Split
7) MSC magnum
8) United Shots pointed 9.0

Fitment wise SEQUENCE
United Shots
HSC Magnum
JSB
RWS
HIGH SPLIT
SUPER IMPACT
PRECIPELL
HIGH IMPACT

I know 10 Yards is not the distance to zero the scope and coment on accuracy but that's what I have for now.. Hope to get to test at longer distances in May .

Cheers
Pravin

That's really cool......
Undoubtedly it proves that JSB performs in any barrel.
It is nice to see such groups in Indian Air Rifle...
You are a good shooter too..... :agree:
I do not have Artemis but I had sport in .22.
At 60 yds the scoped gun used to return 2.5" group with ordinary pellets.
For long distance pellets play a great role.

Finally , your gun looks great.....

Great shooting. I too get similar results with Precipell round head pellets at 20m. I hope now you see there is no ill effect of tight fitting pellets.
Btw did you adjust the trigger ?

Hey Sam ,

That is an excellent group
The only down side of tight fitting pellets now I see is my sour thumb and index. Fingers after 100 shots

Trigger ... I have adjusted just one full turn clockwise... bit softer but still quite hard Bull fine tune later though

Cheers

Since Artemis this trigger does not have locking mechanism, you got to be very careful.
Never leave the barrel till cocking is done.
You can tune the trigger pull weight as per your preference and also keep an eye to avoid accidental fire.
There has to be a match between safety & trigger weight.

Sam - Not only the gun but you have nice pair of hands too.....
