I recently received my Diana Mauser K98 from Syndicate, great service as usual adhering to timelines as committed. The gun itself is lovely. More so to look at than anything else. It's accurate but i haven't yet put too many pellets through it. It's still dieseling a little even after about 25-30 shots. The fit and finish is second to none and it feels good to hold.
It's definitely quicker and easier to reload than my sidelever Model 54 Air King, but of course, no where close to the rate of fire of a break barrel.
I've installed a period Weaver C6 scope from my father's .22LR Winchester for the fun of it and it looks the part.
Overall pretty happy with the purchase.... while we still can :-P

Congratulations. Diana is superb so is syndicate. Yes you are absolutely correct- break barrel AR is quicker than side lever and under lever. As I have all of them -again from diana. K98 is a beauty. Happy shooting.

Hi!
I am thinking to buy 54 Airking. If you can pls share your experience of owning one.
How is the overall performance of Diana 54 airking?
I have heard cocking lever is not that strong and there are complains of breaking and malfunctioning of cocking lever? Is it correct?
What do you recommend, purchasing Diana 48 or 54 Airking?
Your inputs will help in making my decision.
