Need help reg Competition Air rifle...

Hi members,
I am planning to go in to the next level of shooting sports, i;e to buy an air rifle. Have practiced till now with precihole springer until now at our local range. Thinking of owning an air rifle now. So please guide me whether to go for an used competition rifle or a new one? The range already has a Hammereli... And if any of you know someone dealing with used air rifles, then do share the details. Thank you.
