My 1st Airgun was Hunter 50.
It was smooth bore.
I don't think it is in production any more.
No photo.

And mine was a Russian air rifle brought by my uncle in the early 80's when he went to Russia to train on the Migs. Don't remember the name. Will try to post some pics early next month when I visit my hometown.

My first AR was a Diana Model ??? in caliber .177 bought brand new from India Arms, Mumbai in 1958 for ₹ 45/= It sported a thin nail like front sight with a bead, not unlike our IOF rifles and had a back sight with a round screw in the center for elevation. Much later, say after 8 more yrs I became a proud owner of a BSA Meteor in cal. 5.5mm which was brought in from Eden (Then a free port) by my brother as a B'day gift. It was the most accurate and powerful AR in my world then. Also sported a plastic bodied scope which was utterly useless as it had a system which moved the cross hair and I never got to pair it accurately enough to shoot. One hadn't heard of Lead Poisoning those days and we stuffed our mouths with pellets and went around shooting raw mangoes off the branch. This topic surely has stirred up some ancient memories though.

This is my first AR. This is probably a SDB Mod 25. it was a gift to me by my uncle when i was 7 yrs. purchased in 84. used extensively over rabbits and Dove. after that i got few more AR and this was packed and kept aside in store room. just a month back while cleaning all the old stuff, this was recovered. still all the components are extremely fine except the seal.
My brother give it to the local Gun shop to change the seal ( I don,t want to name the Shop) and that B...... has almost ruined it. The barrel was little tapper at left side. and the pellets were not going though the barrel.

today morning i disassembled it cleaned it and do whatever the best I can to minimize the Damage. its now better but still some of the problems are there.
1. the Bending of the barrel is not totally rectified probably 1 Degree tilt to the left is still there.
2. while taking the shot the pellets are not going with the force it should be.

it would be great if any senior member can advice to rectify the same.

Regards.
