Hi friends, Need feedback on aim sports 4x32 scope... Will it be effective for SDB Artemis rifle... Can it be mounted directly on the rifle... Also need some good suggestion for effective scope below 3k range, if any other better than this.

Dear GP,
Artemis has 12 mm.scope groove.
There are three scope stop holes on the groove.
A single piece mount is perfect enough to grip properly the groove.

GP Swamy, I have no idea about aim sports optics but I can tell you that most scopes below 5k change poi with every second shot that too from a powerful springer like Artemis. Get decent ones around 7-9 k from amazon or better from Ali express. But importing scopes is a little difficult due to our careful custom officials :x
IFGian vidhya got a nice scope from Ali express recently, you may look that up thread also.
This particular scope is available through which website?

Basuda,
3-7x40!! Did you get that from Ali express? I too am looking for a scope for my Artemis. I once bought a scope from dharmatala for Rs 1600 that was rattled loose after only 20 shots from Scorpius.

Dear sam47,
Yes it was bought from aliexpress.
Very luckily the 3-7x40 mm was unnoticed by postal customs and reached me.
But my current one 4x32mm is still stuck at customs :banghead: :banghead: .........
What is the specification of your ruined scope ?
Can it not be repaired ?

There were no specifications, but I think it was 4 x zoom, I bought it after getting excited by the accuracy prospect of the Scorpius. After repair from SDB, my Artemis is putting out 13.6 fpe and the 850+ muzzle velocity allows for long range shooting. The scope can't be repaired because I shot it out with open sights, repair would only have wasted money.
The reason for custom officials seizing the scope. This is what I am afraid of while importing the scope. How to free the scope? I think you might have to pay a little import fine to the babu's.

Custom people not confiscating but detaining.
They will issue a call letter/show cause , they will demand DGFT authorization , which you can not provide.
They will continue to detain it till eternity. :( :(
I have successfully mended my scope once , when its cross hair tilted.

Director General of Foreign Trade is authorized to issue any import of restricted items.
But these all bogus.....
Why and who is going to authorize lisense for one piece import ??
Basic intent of customs not to give it...and later some people will sell them in open market in connivance with few staffs.
