How to tune SDB 2000 air rifle

Dear Basu sir,
whether Jim Maccarri RWS-Diana 350 compatible with SDB 2000. seems so .... and if compatible is there any possibility to increase performance if installed properly.

Dear Snehasish,
SDB 2000 is clone of Diana 35 of Germany.
This is believed to be a mid power gun with awesome accuracy.
The gun has got design limitation to produce higher fps.
I guess it has leather seal.You can change to synthetic seal along with synthetic breech seal.
That will surely improve overall performance.
Every AR has its own feature.
Donot expect the power of Artemis from 2000 as both are far different.
You may contact the manufacturer for better service.

Recently I knew one thing (may be rumor) that gas ram is not durable and they may shot max 10k shot as gas came out from cylinder slowly. Then what will be life time of a Precihole NX100 AR? because many springer air rifle lasts even 15 years and even more with least maintenance.... So dear experience IFG member plz give me your valuable opinion.

Dear Snehashis,
I have test fired both Precihole SX and NX.
I do not have any of the Precihole ARs.
To my opinion , Precihole Club Elite is the best AR in their stable.
Gas Ram technology is far more advanced then a spring.
Since I do not have any hand on experience about gas ram , I prefer not to comment about its longevity.

A spring is not forever. Even in a spring rifle, you will have to change the spring some time. Again, even same spring models from the same company might give few 1000 shots apart. Same as the gas piston. The gas ram rifle will last for years. Like the spring in a spring rifle, only the ram in a gas ramrifle has to be changed from time to time. Get a toy that shoots well and you are comfortable with.

And gas rams are expensive. Only if PH recycles the customer's gas rams replacing the seals and refilling them with gas at the customer's charge then replacing a gas ram would become cheaper.

Gas rams were over priced against their manufacturing cost. They will be reliable only if they are sold at fair price.Also we cant guarantee their work life.Even they may have some manufacturing defects.Also they are not fully free from recoil.Even in international market they are not much welcomed and majority of the fine guns use coil springs instead of gas ram.Hence this new technology is not considered a complete success.They are the recent entry in indian market and hence a risk averse person generally prefers to resist from NX if he knews these facts behind this nitro spring.But if any buyer like to experience a different piston other than coil spring he will tend towards NX and values the risk lower than his experience.At last, a good coil spring piston (like diana or beeman)cant be beaten by any gas rams.

You can order it directly from the US. Many members in the forum do that. It's not a restricted item , hence it'll come though.

SDB do make .177 caliber ARs also.
Namely Sport, Apache , Artemis ,SDB25 & 23(smooth bore).
Regarding availability, you need to check with gun shops/manufacturer.
