Saw this ad in today's newspaper. Check this out.
The ad is from a company based out of Chennai. The website works though.
Ekol brand is what the ad claims...

Hi Abhijeet
The new arms rules covers the blank guns as well?
As such we are burdened by the needless red tape bureaucracy in obtaining a license and other rules and restrictions on Airsoft and airguns.... Now this too..... The whole charter seems to be in favour of OFB only....Not harmless citizens who want to pursue a passion/sport.

Yep, the new (draft) Arms Rules treat blank guns, replicas and even paintball markers as REAL firearms with all the attended legal implications.
