Atul, these airsoft guns shoot 6mm plastic BBs through a smoothbore barrel. High grade guns like this are not available in India, so have to be imported.

Thanks. Very nice. But is there any restriction on import or is it only for rifle member? or can they be bought safely in checked in baggage.

Yes there are unofficial restrictions due to vague rules. That said, there are safer ways to bring them in if needed. Checked in baggage is one of them. You may read more about it here http://indiansforguns.com/viewtopic.php ... 95#p218524 . Legality of Airsoft is discussed in that thread.

These are not firearms or air guns. Technically these are considered toys.
However, they scare some people who don't know any better.
Also, most customs people are totally clueless about what airsoft is.
