Availability of .177 pellets

I have been trying to procure some decent .177 pellets (preferably jsb diabalo exact and precipell dome/roundhead) in vain for the past few weeks. Online stores seem to be out of stock. Can someone direct me to an online store where i can still get some.

I would like to mention that i still have a tin of precipell pellets in which 30-40% of the pellets came deformed. Its a pity because my Polaris loved those pellets. Bad batch maybe.

Thanks!
Hillsman

I have 3 tin of .177 precipell with 35-40% damage pellets. Poor quality control from g smith or professional policy to de-fame precihole. Try p-10 my nx100 give good result with it.

Looks like contractors short-changing PH have been taken up seriously. Now I eagerly await "in-house" production of PH pellets.

Thanks everyone for the replies. But it does seem that most available pellets are wadcutters/match pellets. there seems to be a shortage of domed/roundhead pellets in the market. I have never tried wadcutters and a bit apprehensive to order them as i usually shoot at targets from distances ranging from 10 to 30 metres from my balcony.

Try http://ballistol.in/air-pellets-c-110.h ... m0q2r2tga0 or http://www.airgunindia.com/shoponline/ammo-pellets.html . I've had some good experiences with them. They also stock different types of pellets other than wadcutters.

Hillsman,

Please check. You seem not to want to search.
I only use dome, round head, crow magnum etc and they are available.

I also find Amazon much cheaper than airgunindia. Most of airgunindia's pellets are much higher than Amazon.

etc ....etc

BD, thanks for the links. I did see the pellets you mentioned in your links and I have tried the barracuda and the crow magnum. They perform terribly on my air rifle. The rws Superdome at 1000k per tin seems way overpriced.

Sohampaul, I see that airgunindia has a nice variety of domed pellets at a reasonable price. I will order a couple of tins from them. Thanks!

Airgunindia is also a seller on Amazon. They sell their products both on their site and through Amazon. Check out the sellers in the links. Apart from H&N, the others are by airgunindia.

Hi hillsman

RWS Superdomes .177 ( 500 per tin ) are sold in pyramydair for $11.95 = 800 INR Approximate . In my opinion. just to compare this price in India, I dont see that is something higher when I can get it at my door step for 1000 INR.

Exhatly I all along believed the second part( Tata tried it with Fiat in india, hoping to eventually buyout)Their newer blinged out pellets have hit a new low-hard as hell and deformities like tilted head this after they said its made on newly imported German machines(continuation of strategy)
their take it or leave it attitude( get the feeling that you are the clear- favouree) explains why no gun shop in Mumbai stocks Gsmith pellets by mistake and whatever these sells on kovibaazr is twice what one can have in their Pune office.
As of now its better to stick to international brands - H&N and JSB.

Very True, Actually the younger gen are blessed to have all this at their disposal.
I remember some 20 - 30 years back, you had to use the pellets you could get and the imported ones were far between and on the higher side.
