HI,
I recently saw a beretta .177 co2-powered air pistol online and wanted to purchase one. However when I contacted Relish sports they insisted on club membership.
I have an arms license from Mumbai but have not taken any air club membership. Can someone help me tide over with this requirement.
Regards
Kaushal

An arms license will help you getting an air pistol imported as much as a driving license will help you in owning a firearm. Club membership is an absolute requirement for importing any air weapon. Period.

They normally deliver but if they can't clear it they should refund the money, maybe.

It takes time. Patience is a virtue. Some shipments take a month. Some may take a year.

Ordered one of my air guns from them. Was a pcp pistol. Took about 3 months. They answered only about half my calls but made the delivery. My guess is they dont believe in greasing slow moving government officials hence the delay. Stay calm and have patience.
Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback. i hope in this month i will get the delivery. I have ordered a Gamo PT-85 Co2 pistol. I wanted a gun with blowback action and had to choose between Beretta PX4 Storm and Gamo. The Gamo has a lot of metal parts, is made in Japan and the FPS is a bit more than the Beretta.

You can file an RTI with customs. Instead of depending upon Relish try dealing with it yourself.

No license required if it is air propelled and .177 caliber.
