My new DIY Reactive Target

Hi Gunners,

I was bored of plinking beer cans (empty of course) so I decided to challenge myself with a disciplined with least margin of error.
After a bit of research, managed to make a Spinning target with some spare stuff. This is the final result. Pretty happy with the performance, considering I spent only Rs100 for Welding and stuff.

I usually placed my target can and other target objects at approx 18-19. So I got rid of that approximation and placed the new target at exact 20mts.

This is how it looks @20 mts

Just for a perspective from peep sight.

Was able to hit the target quite consistently,

Hope to get better and better with performance.

Keep your eyes on it !!

Be very careful, you do not hurt anybody. Your target seems exactly next to your neighbor's door.
I would suggest you shift your target to a place with a safe backdrop.

Excellent use of available parts, simple and effective. Congrats on successful completion.

As Atul mentioned security is paramount. For an immediate/temporary backstop get half inch pressed board and stand it up behind the target when you are practicing and leave it on floor or against another wall when not.

Looking at how creative you are, I'm sure you'll come up with a permanent backstop soon.

Thanks for pointing it out.
I did not consider the factor of human error and bad luck.
Will change the location to a safe point so that the only option for the pellet is to perform or perish. :-)
