Hi Guys,
I am new member in this forum. Last 2 years I was reading many topics, posts regarding air rifle, collecting knives etc. Then I have decided that I will share my ideas, my thoughts, my collection in this forum. Today I am going to share my customize air rifle stock. Please note this stock I have tried to look like Air Arms tx200 model and I have applied in my IHP .22
Thanks

Really well done. From the images i am guessing you are left handed, so this tailor made to suit you

Well done.
What kind of foam was used for the template. Was it cut using a hot wire ? Is it sandable?

Hi GNV,
The usual process is thus.
The correct mm of wooden plank is selected. The outline of the stock is drawn on the plank, usually using an existing stock as template. A Scroll Saw is then used to neatly cut the outline.
A Wood Router is used to make the grooves that will house the piston chamber. Once done it is then worked on for the final finish including drilling the wood to accommodate the trigger blade and cocking lever.
However in this case, looks like coldbloodshooter has created a template using chart paper and used that to outline the wooden plank.
Looks like the original IHP stock was used as the base template and then free hand drawing to create the curves and dips. Very innovative I must say.

Hi Joy,
I was referring to the template. When I enlarged the picture it looked like some kind of foam to me. I never thought it was chart paper. Thanks for clarifying. I understood how the wooden stock was made. But it was beyond my resources. Such machines are not available where I live. Got to investigate if I could find some workshop equipped with these. Even then finding decent timber like teak with some 2.5 to 3 inch thickness and enough width locally would be a problem for me. Anyway thank you.

PS: after the modifications I made to the stock of the HURRICANE AR the gun now feels manageable
