My airsoft kit

Hi guys,

Just want to share my airsoft kit and weapons. Will also keep sharing videos and play photos in this thread. I'm involved in milsim or military simulation where you and your team are involved in 48 hour scenario games which replicate exact missions and restrictions/obstacles/hardships similar to a real combat situation. eg. MRE's, limited ammo, limited water supply, capture-interrogate, extraction and other similar missions. Please feel free to comment, critique and share your views. I really wish to bring airsoft and milsim to India.

Talking airsoft, you are one lucky man. Really!

The kind of gear, resources, tactics etc that these war games employ sometimes surpass what even some real army teams got, except for live rounds ofcourse. With many vets involved, not surprised either.

Looking forward to more milsim treats!

I suppose we Indians would be just too happy to lay our hands on Simunitions and easier gun laws... Milsims can definitely be a huge adventure sport & money-churning opportunity. I'm just not sure how the authorities would respond to such 'adventure sports'. For sure a lot of adventurous youth & people from defense backgrounds would be greatly interested in it.

Thank you Sandy, Milsim has definitely made me a better person physically and mentally. Situational awareness and resource management are my key takeaways. I recently had the opportunity to train with Major John Bucciarreli retd. I will share some videos soon. Right now I'm in the dead of midwest winter and milsim season will start by March.

Main13, I have thought about the local authorities being paranoid part and the solution is that there should be a buy in from the army for this thing. i.e. if the organizer could rope in a few military personnel in the organization of the event, it would have a solid backing.

hi fellas
talking about the mil-sim ...
mil-sim actually makes the players more tactical in decisions
and helps us to experience the combat ops and does gives some hands on experience on the ops simulated
the experience also helps us to be ready for similar situations which may occur in the future
these are my views on those milsims
and by the way guys owning airsoft guns in bangalore willing to start up an airsoft game or a milsim please organize one ...(ameture level atleast)

Hi Shashank, I'm currently living in Wisconsin, from Mumbai. If the no. of people interested in airsoft grows, it can warrant a forum for ourselves. I will support an Indian airsoft forum any way I can.

Peterfish, hahahahaha yes it is. I cannot possibly afford a $1200 sight. The build quality is nice but it cant handle recoil even from my Tippmann blowback there.

It seems to be this one: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/aabb-1-4x-ma ... qYslPl97Dc
But since him being from the US, can't really tell. Even the replica is 200$ !!

Sobo, how handy is this HPA setup of yours on the field? I can see its power benefits over electric or other gas, but it should feel like wielding a flamethrower to bring up that realism. Must be tricky to crawl or roll too, with that remote tank & tubing. Are you considering something on-gun & compact like the attached pic?

The plate carrier setup is cool. Was looking through some MOLLE tactical vests the other day, & the good looking ones are hitting the 100$ mark. I guess that's the price for going tacticool.

Sandy, I purchased the replica for $120 after some hard bargaining with a friend of mine who was selling it.

Honestly, I dont even notice my tank and line anymore, they sit comfy in my modular assault pack and the line is tucked away in that paracord around my plate carrier. I moved from aeg to hpa and I'm never moving back. The only challenges are when I want to shoot from the left shoulder.
I have tried the airstock like you mention, but according to me that's more uncomfortable because it messes up with the centre of gravity of the weapon and manuevering it is awkward. Besides, the airstock is only 13cu/3000psi which gives me only about 1200 shots compared to my 60cu/4500 psi tank which gives me about 4500 shots or a whole day of play.

The plate carrier is not a repro but an actual firearm plate carrier with fake plates in it. The key is to not buy anything on MRP, we all know how much Americans love their guns, they buy and sell tactical gear like it's nothing. Let me know what you were looking for and if you dont mind a lightly used one, I can find it and ship it out to you.

That's clear now, can't get better than hearing it from a real user. I'll for sure ping you when i'm in market for gear, for now let the gun happen. Till then, window shopping.

I'm pretty sure my wife is going to kick me out of the house, but it is absolutely worth it. Inspired by the Indian Army special forces.
