This a pic of a fresh nylon guide in an air rifle. On the left is new one & on the right is one that has fired only 200 shots. The right guide has worn out .25mm at its edge where the taper ends. No idea why. Seems there is a problem but can't find what's wrong.
Also, the spring jams if the guide isn't tapered. Again not sure what's causing the problem. Analysis, opinions & suggestions are most welcome.
