Hi Friends

Came across this interesting rifle ,pics forwarded to me by a cousin from a gun store in Ranchi .Does anybody have firsthand experience of actually using this rifle ? Googled a bit and came across the following information from amazon ,where currently its out of stock,will upload the actual pictures later on .This seems to be a product of a Amritsar based manufacturer :


Accurate upto 100mtrs with 12 groove rifled barrel. Unshielded Front Sight for quick aiming and Ramp Style Back Sight with Windage & Elevation Adjustment.

Stock made up to heat/cold resistant Nylon66 fibre for rough outdoor use. Air pellet integrated storage magazine in the Stock. Even Swivels integrated into the Stock and rear Picatinny rail for mounting accessories. Also features CheekPad, convenient Pistol Grip and Soft oil resistant Polymer Stock Plate

Trigger fully adjustable with Trigger Pull from 500 gms to 5 Kgs. Precision machined classic 3-Ball Locking Mechanism, hardened for life long service life. (Which has not been manufactured in India so far)

Telescope 11mm Dovetail Mount Strip welded on the Cylinder for rigidity of the optical instruments.
Water resistant space age multi colour Ceramic coated with Cerakote (TM).

Priced at Rs.8000/- along with the features indicated this AR appears interesting!
The information doc. says its shipped from Amritsar!
Any IFGian living in and around Amritsar could check this out

Yes Brihaji ,its 8000 on indiamart but the dealer was quoting aroung 15K !! So I advised him to make peace with precihole NX 100 ,which is a proven deal . But from the pictures forwarded by him the rifle seems to have a good finish and a interesting rear sight and a open front sight .

Pretty interesting !!
Specially upto 100 mts accuracy......

Alright, those are some fancy looks, definitely turn heads.

But the quintessential question remains: What about performance?

Please post a review as that would greatly help evaluate the choices that prospective buyers have.

I must say I am in no way in possession of one of these rifles or related in any way financially or otherwise to this manufacturer .

Anyone has any info regarding its power, accuracy,fps.

looks like a rifle

License for this type of rifle are required or not because it a air rifle.

Kovibazaar.com have them in stock and will be helpful to review the product.

No air rifle requires a license. You can just buy it from any shop or even buy it on line. But only from an Indian Supplier. For import there are some restrictions, like a rifle association membership and .177 bore only, but a license is still not required.

Happened to actually inspect one of this couple of weeks back when a friend and I went to pick up a Theoben. The shopkeeper was a practical guy. Said "sir, it's very accurate, well balanced and will shoot about 10meters more than an IHP". Finish was excellent I must say. Trigger blade is well done. I found ergonomics to be good. He had mentioned something about the rifling machinery being an imported one.... don't exactly remember. Didn't have the opportunity to shot it. To be honest, while some people may drool at the pics, it's toooooo flashy for my liking.

BTW... Cannot verify on the IHP comparison.

Well now its on kovibazzar ,@big daddy you are right the manufacturing looks slick but cannot digest the assault rifle configuration .
