You can never underestimate the P.O. ; just when you feel all fuzzy after paying the duties and taking a beautiful weapon home, you realise that you are dead.
They have dropped the parcel so hard and so often that the bolt has dinged the wood and the metal. As a result the bolt won't go back to cock the trigger or reveal the loading port.
So after spending some twenty grand all that I have at the moment is a formidable paper weight. So guys please insist on layers of bubble wrap when you order stuff by mail.
I don't think I'm ever gonna get anything more.

Dev

I assume the dent in the wood is just cosmetic damage?dev wrote:They have dropped the parcel so hard and so often that the bolt has dinged the wood and the metal. As a result the bolt won't go back to cock the trigger or reveal the loading port.
When you say the bolt handle has dinged the metal, do you mean it has created a dimple in the receiver?
Need some close pics as I am unfamiliar with this one.

The wood damage is cosmetic, the metal also is like a small nick. The good news is that after talking to the rifle in a gentle voice and coaxing the bolt a bit, it worked free. The bolt is now working but the trigger sear isn't engaging.
So I'll either take it to a renowned air gunsmith on Friday or take the advise from the yellow forum board and do it myself. It is such a beauty that you can hardly believe that it is a toy.
Will post pics thru Monsieur Mack The Knife on Sun or Sat.
